RESEARCH METHOD
Research conducted in the area of Cave Gudawang, Argapura Village, Cigudeg District, Bogor Regency. This study was conducted in the three-time observation for three days on 30 December-1 January 2009.
Tools and materials required include the caves of equipment such as flashlights, candles, lighter, shoes, boots, stationery, note book / field book, camera, binocular, compass, and field Guide-Bird bird in Sumatra, Java, Bali, and Kalimantan.

Observations made with the methods of science (Index Point abundance). Around the cave area (area outside the cave) will be ten point taken randomly per sample location has been determined, IE, in the rice field, plantation, the local people, and in the area of the cave is not the cave, Cave of the page Gudawang. The distance between the sample point is estimated around 40 m or each sample point diameter 40 m. In each instance the location of the point made the observation during the 10 minutes are divided into two part time observation, IE, morning and afternoon.
For the location of the observation which is in a cave in the area will be used line transects method. Line transects method is commonly used to census Primate, birds and large herbivore. Line is a plot transect example, where an observer / recorder transect running along the line and record every type of wildlife to see whether the number and distance from the registrar. Transect this method can be used to record data from several types of animals at the same time.
Data Analysis
Data that have been obtained in advance will be classified based on objective research, such as the kind of swallow, the area of the cave and swallow interaction with other components in the area outside the cave. Data that have been classified in the analysis will compare the results of the reference library and in the results obtained.
